BETa is a professional internship of 9 months with a formative plan suited to the talents we are looking for. Don’t worry, you don’t have to choose the path you want to follow right away. You’ll be able to understand all of our roles and we’ll help you to find the best role to fit your unique skills.
Once selected, you’ll be part of Blip’s team: you’ll have hands-on experience in the labour market, working with cutting-edge technologies in the sports betting industry. All of this, is in one of the best workplaces in Portugal.

What skills do I need?

BETa is a paid internship program. Besides the monthly compensation, the interns have access to benefits offered to all of our employees.

1. Applications

2. Phone Screening
A short chat to introduce you to Blip and the BETa Program, and to learn more about your background and goals.
3. Technical Assessment
Complete challenges tailored to your chosen field: Frontend, Backend, Site Reliability, Cloud, Product, or other tech areas, to showcase your skills and potential.
4. Assessment Day
Spend a full day at our office with fun activities, meet our managers, teams, and maybe even your future coworkers.
International students can apply for the BETa program as long as they're EU citizens. However, interns have to be based in Portugal for the 9-month internship to be eligible for our program.
The number of BETa vacancies varies each year, but the program has a greater number of challenges in different areas: Software Development (Backend/Frontend), Quality Assurance, Product Owner, SRE/DevOps and some more. You can select your main areas of interest in your application and first interview. We'll drive your process towards those areas.
In order to improve your experience and facilitate your learning process, you can choose the way of working that works best for you (Work at the Office, Hybrid Work or Work from Home).
