The Role

This role is part of the Global HR Operations function, delivering high-quality HR services across the employee lifecycle.

In Porto, the HR Ops Partner operates as an in-country HR expert, combining operational delivery with advisory responsibilities to support employees and managers.

The role is accountable for ensuring compliant, efficient, and employee-centric HR processes, while acting as a trusted point of contact for local HR topics and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll be doing:  

HR service delivery & advisory

  • Own and manage HR queries end-to-end via Workday Help, ensuring timely, accurate, and employee-focused resolution
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR processes, policies, and tools
  • Provide guidance on standard HR topics, ensuring consistent and compliant application of policies

HR operations ownership

  • Own the execution of employee lifecycle processes (hire to retire), ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Process HR transactions in Workday, including hires, changes, and terminations
  • Ensure data integrity across systems and documentation

Local HR expertise & compliance

  • Apply knowledge of Portuguese labor legislation to ensure compliant HR practices
  • Support local HR processes and maintain relevant platforms (e.g., Social Security, Occupational Medicine, Health Insurance, and so on.)
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure correct and compliant execution

Collaboration & continuous improvement

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Reward, and Payroll teams
  • Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to process optimisation initiatives
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and standardisation across Global HR Operations
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution and digitalisation of HR processes in Porto, in alignment with broader HR strategy

Scope expansion

  • Provide HR Operations support for designated Brazilian employee populations, with scope expected to grow as new brands are onboarded

What You’ll Bring:  

  • Experience in HR Operations or HR generalist roles
  • Good knowledge of Portuguese labor legislation
  • Experience working with HR systems (Workday preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder communication and advisory skills
  • Ability to independently manage HR topics and employee queries
  • High attention to detail and ownership mindset
  • Customer-focused, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • English Proficiency
