What You’ll be Doing…
As a Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for developing a robust and compelling Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with business needs and priorities, balancing short-term hiring delivery with long-term capability building. You must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in complex, multi-location organisations and build credibility across functional leaders.
Responsible for overseeing all recruitment activities within Porto, the selected candidate also needs to represent talent requirements across all Flutter Entertainment Brands, Divisions, and Regions at a local level and be capable of managing and implementing effective practices to support Blip's hiring ambitions.
You must drive process excellence using analytics and automation to improve Talent Acquisition practices and processes. With a data-driven approach and the adoption of AI technologies, you are expected to act as a strategic partner for change and continuous improvement.
Roles & responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Vision: Translate business strategy into a forward-looking TA strategy that aligns with Blip’s overall strategy as well as with Flutter Entertainment Brands, Divisions, and Regions within Blip.

Leadership & Capability Building: Lead and develop a high-performing TA team, fostering a culture of excellence, and create and embed new capabilities within the team when necessary.

Process Excellence & Transformation: Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement through process optimisation, automation, and AI adoption. Drive operational efficiency while maintaining quality and champion technology-enabled transformation within the TA function.

Data-Driven Decision Maker: Use data and insights to inform strategy, establishing a robust set of metrics and KPIs to measure the success of that strategy.

Excellent Communicator: Be a clear and compelling communicator who influences at all levels. Translate complex ideas into actionable insights, building trust through transparency and authenticity.

Stakeholder Leadership & Influence: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation. Influence leaders and hiring managers to support TA priorities, managing stakeholder concerns effectively while maintaining a collaborative and aligned mindset across our complex organisational structure.

Navigating Ambiguity: Ability to thrive in fast-paced and constantly evolving environments, comfortably handling ambiguity and complexity.

Strategic Business Partner: Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner to Blip leaders and hiring managers, using market knowledge, data, and insights to influence change and inform decision-making. Additionally, partner with the local Leadership Team (LT) to ensure the delivery of local strategic initiatives, which may involve the TA team.

Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with the overall Porto People Team and People Leadership team to ensure the TA strategy drives and aligns with the overall people team goals.

You will have:

Proven success in leading & developing in-house recruiting teams to deliver ambitious hiring goals at pace, ideally in a Tech business.

Experience in developing vision and strategy, setting goals and objectives, and measuring performance to drive change and enhance effectiveness.

Proven track record in fostering process excellence and operational efficiency; demonstrated success in implementing process improvements, automation, and optimisation initiatives within a TA area.

Skilled at articulating complex messages simply and tailoring communication style to engage senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships with the business.

Proficient in utilising data and insights—able to manipulate data, generate insights, and use this information to resolve problems and influence strategy; adopts a data-driven approach to recruitment.
