The role

The Senior Engineering Manager (Maternity Cover) provides tactical and strategic leadership, oversight and direction to multi-discipline team members that span multiple concurrent projects. You should have a solid technical and managerial background, proven problem-solving skills, be a strong technical and organizational leader with positive results-driven attitude and be able to demonstrate your ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Work closely with the key business customers, stakeholders, external partners and all groups within the Technology organisation to implement, evolve, support and own the software and system components to appropriate quality standards, within Blip's overal infrastructure;
Clearly communicate and promote strategies, roadmaps, dependencies and plans for products and/or components;
Own the product lifecycle and be responsible for managing all delivery risks;
Manage all technical resources and capacity plans within budget and project schedule;
Responsible for fostering an open-source mindset and for maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with other Senior Managers among PPB or other divisions;
Lead, inspire, motivate and line manage an area compose by several multi-discipline software development teams and Managers;
Coach, hold 1 to 1s, set and review objectives, appraise performance, and assist with career development, ensuring effective performance management;
Help build a ‘delivery with high quality' culture that is accountability and results orientated;
Responsible for achieving and sustaining employee engagement;
Serve as liaison between the delivery team and key stakeholder(s);
Execute, plan and manage changes as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements;
Continuous improvement of processes through automation of common procedures, and implementation of standards, processes and checklists;
Prioritise all tasks throughout all phases of the project lifecycle;
Foster an appropriate sense of urgency to deliver results at pace;
Actively measure and review the Productivity, Velocity, Quality and Duration of delivery, taking prompt corrective action where necessary.

What You’ll Bring

Proven track record of leading and managing teams on complex software projects;
Using agile methods for software delivery;
Working with distributed, redundant and transactional systems and the testing of these;
Managing the development of a team by ensuring that project tasks are in line with each team member's career interests where possible
BSc in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrable knowledge;
Manage effectively a team consisting of multiple disciplines;
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, particularly with regard to technical risks, issues and constraints;

The Role

As a Senior Talent Manager, you will be responsible for leading and evolving Blip’s talent strategy across the employee lifecycle. This role will drive talent management programmes, leadership development, performance management, succession planning and workforce capability building. You will combine strategic thinking with strong execution skills and bring experience partnering with senior leaders to build a high-performing, future-ready organisation.

You will also be responsible for delivering best-in-class programmes and initiatives that enhance Blip’s performance, build capability and support the organisation in meeting the short- and medium-term needs of the business, aligned to Blip’s strategic workforce plan.

As part of the Flutter Entertainment Group, you will be expected to partner and collaborate with other locations, the Group Talent Team and Centres of Excellence (CoE) to provide input and support the design and implementation of the Global Talent Development Strategy and initiatives delivered across Flutter locations.

What You'll be Doing
Talent Management

Design, implement, and continuously improve talent management frameworks and processes, including identification, development, and succession planning. Support regular talent reviews and high-potential identification programs, and develop strategies to retain and grow Blip’s critical talent.

Learning & Capability Building

Developing a learning strategy that supports a high-performance culture for a diverse and talented workforce by applying the latest research in learning theories and models, benchmarking best practices, and championing knowledge.
Identify Blip's capability gaps and create development plans and be-scope strategic programs to mitigate those gaps.
Create regular and scalable Learning and Developet offer and learning curriculums across all roles, maintaining a skills ideology and supporting programmes design and its creation.
Create and support reskilling and upskilling initiatives aligned with future workforce needs , specilly around AI capanility as well as other hard and soft skills associaterd with this transformation.
Design, develop, and curate engaging digital learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, learning pathways, toolkits, and knowledge resources.
Leverage learning technologies and AI-powered tools to create personalized, scalable, and data-driven learning experiences.
Measure the effectiveness of digital learning programs through learner analytics, engagement metrics, and business impact assessments.

Leadership Development

Support the creation of leadership development programmes for managers across Blip (including senior managers, heads of, and director-level roles).
Coach leaders on talent decisions, team effectiveness, and employee growth.
Ensure our leaders across all levels (e.g. Senior Delivery Managers, Heads of, Directors) are provided with hyper-individualised development options, laser-focused on their needs and interests.
Support executive development initiatives and leadership assessments across Flutter Group and Flutter Hubs.
Strategically select and partner with external providers where needed to ensure the delivery of Learning and Development initiatives.

Performance Management

Partner with the Group Talent Team to drive performance management processes and ensure alignment with business objectives, acting as the POC for the location on this topic.
Partner with leaders and the remaining People team to build a high-performance culture through feedback, coaching, and accountability.
Analyse performance data and partner with the People Partners team to recommend actions.

Talent Assessment & Succession Planning

Partner with the Group Talent team and the CoE to create talent identification and assessment processes that ensure a strong and diverse talent pipeline.
Partner with the people partner team to design and facilitate talent review discussions, enabling leaders to identify high-performing and high-potential employees.
Implement frameworks and tools to assess performance, potential, readiness, and critical capabilities across the workforce.
Develop and manage high-potential (HiPo) initiatives that accelerate the growth of future employees through targeted development experiences, coaching, mentoring, and stretch assignments.
Partner with business leaders and People Partners to identify critical roles and build robust succession plans for key positions.
Establish governance, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to measure the health and effectiveness of talent and succession programmes.

Embed DEI principles into talent processes and leadership programmes.
Partner with the DEI team to develop inclusive talent practices and diverse leadership pipelines.

Cross-Functional Partnership

Collaborate with other talent teams, such as TA, to strengthen talent pipelines, internal mobility, and succession strategies and Early Talent Development initiatives.

Partner with the Group Talent team to deliver the Global Strategic Talent Programmes and Learning initiatives locally when needed.

Employee Experience & Onboarding

Lead the design and optimization of onboarding programs to accelerate productivity, engagement, and cultural integration for new hires.
Develop structured onboarding journeys for different employee populations, including individual contributors, managers, leaders, and critical talent segments.
Partner with People Partners, Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams to create a seamless employee journey from onboarding to offboarding.

What You'll Bring

Degree and preferably a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology or related fields.
Proven success in leading the design and implementation of talent development programmes in an agile, international abd hybrid business environment.
Experience in matrix organizations with responsibility for designing and delivering a broad range of learning and development interventions, including leadership programmes.
Experience in designing a vision & strategy, for Talent, Learning.
Expert knowledge of learning and curriculum design, online, virtual and blended learning methodologies together with organizational development design approaches.

The Role

The payroll team is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll operation for Portugal, Malta and Ceuta, ensuring that each stage of the payroll process is actioned properly and all employees are paid correctly.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Specialist will work together with the payroll team to manage the end-to-end payroll cycle for Portugal, Malta and Ceuta.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support Payroll team in administration of end-to-end payroll using the system implemented by the Company. Ensure any other input/upload data relating to employee's payments & deductions into the payroll database in line with the payroll timetable and processing checklist.
Ensure that correct payments, reports and returns are made to tax authorities and social security and other statutory bodies.
Support in carrying out pay period and year end processes essential for statutory and other returns.
Deal with enquiries from employees and external contacts.
Prepare information from the payroll as required by other areas of the business to an agree timeline.
Build relationships with key business areas.
Identify ways to reduce errors and improve processes.
Provide payroll cover when other team members are absent.
Conduct regular checks to ensure the integrity of the payroll database, updating data as necessary and ensuring that the payroll database is working properly and that problems are identified to the Payroll Manager.
Keeping abreast of changes in employment legislation.
Participate in any projects to develop the payroll processes and database, taking a lead on identifying improvements and playing a key role in implementing any resultant changes.
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role, as required by the Payroll Manager.

Experience with Payroll processes for Malta and Ceuta - Desirable

The Role...

We are looking for a Senior Database Engineer to expand our team, that is geographically distributed between US, UK and now Portugal.

Alongside the team, you will be responsible for the stability, scalability and performance of our database estate: currently we work with Informix, MySQL, Elastic Search and Cassandra. In addition, the team will be assuming responsibility for PostgreSQL as new applications are being developed using that technology.

While the role emphasizes NoSQL clustered databases that can be horizontally scaled, the philosophy of the team is to cross-train on different technologies.

What You'll be Doing...

Working together to keep delivering at pace, scale and with demanded quality to support our products, you will be able to:

Elasticsearch Design and Tuning – Optimize indexes, sharding, and document modeling
Database Administration (e.g., Cassandra, Elasticsearch):
Review of existing implementation and development of new implementations as needed

Availability Planning – Systems need to be available 24x7
Monitoring and Alerting
Infrastructure Planning and Sizing – Decide when it is preferable to add a node to a cluster versus increase the resources of an existing node

At least 5 years' experience as a Database Engineer or similar role
In-depth knowledge of NoSQL clustered databases (Cassandra, Elasticsearch)
Expertise in Elasticsearch as well as a background in Cassandra
Design and implement scalable Elasticsearch clusters to support high-traffic, data-intensive applications
Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune Elasticsearch performance, including query optimization, shard management, and cluster scaling
Develop and maintain indexing strategies, mappings, and search schemas that optimize performance
Background in data modelling, database design and performance optimization
Knowledge of Linux (Amazon Linux and Rocky are used here)
Shell Scripting (essential), Python (extremely good to have), Java (good to have)
Knowledge of AWS technologies and cloud-based CLIs
Experience with diagnostic log aggregation software such as DataDog
Experience working with automation software such as Ansible
Ability to define and implement replication and redundancy policies

Strong expertise in monitoring and observability, with significant hands-on experience in Datadog.
Experience defining and driving observability or reliability strategy across teams or domains.
Proficiency with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).

The role

Flutter Global Cyber team is seeking an IAM Security Solutions Architect to contribute to the design, development and implementation of IAM capabilities across the Flutter ecosystem. IAM at Flutter is going through a period of change, with a new group-wide strategy being agreed and a technical roadmap for uplifting the services to support the strategy in development.

The Security Solutions Architect will work with a variety of stakeholders – including brand security and engineering teams, workplace technology, vendor technical account managers and technical consultancies – in supporting the delivery of the strategy.

The successful candidate will have a background with IAM, either in security architecture or security engineering, or through end user computing delivery. Plus, a proven track record of working on enterprise-scale IAM or C-IAM projects, in engineering or architecture roles. The candidate will be able to design and document secure and scalable solutions across IAM which are tailored to the individual brands’ needs.

What You'll be Doing
•   Support the IAM architectural roadmap, working with security and enterprise architecture to maintain alignment to the broader enterprise security and technology strategies.
•   Design end-to-end IAM solutions covering identity governance and administration (IGA), privileged access management (PAM) and access management.
•   Establish and maintain architecture patterns, standards, and reference designs for IAM across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
•   Architect and oversee the implementation of authentication protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, and FIDO2/WebAuthn.
•   Drive the adoption of multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and password-less authentication capabilities, enhancing and extending the conditional access implementation.
•   Collaborate with peer functions such as Workplace Technology, Enterprise Architecture, Security Architecture as and when required.
•   Engage with relevant teams to ensure IAM solutions comply with relevant regulatory and control frameworks (including GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS, NIST and ISO 27001).
•   Support the analysis & delivery of role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and entitlement management frameworks.
•   Support audit and assurance activities, producing architectural documentation and evidence as required.
•   Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for IAM solutions, advising stakeholders and product teams on identity-related risks, capabilities and mitigations.
•   Bring a “customer first” mindset to ensure that user experience remains a priority in the delivery of IAM services.
•   Evaluate and support recommendations for IAM vendor solutions and tooling, contributing to procurement and commercial decisions.
•   Act as a coach or mentor to junior colleagues to further IAM within Flutter

What You'll Bring
•   An understanding of federation protocols: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos.
•   Strong understanding of zero trust network access (ZTNA) and its application to identity architectures.
•   Experience designing IAM solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
•   An understanding of API security patterns, including OAuth token management and API gateway integration.
•   Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) as applied to identity configuration.
•   An understanding of PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and secrets management best practices.
•   Architecture experience - ideally with a grounding in a recognised framework such as TOGAF, SABSA, or Zachman.
•   Demonstrable experience working within complex, large-scale enterprise environments with diverse technology stacks.
•   Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns, microservices, and containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker).

Essential
•   Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline - or equivalent demonstrable experience.
•   7+ years in identity and access management or information security roles, with at least 3 years in an architectural or engineering capacity.

The Role

As Site Reliability Engineer you'll be accountable for closely monitoring the availability of our platforms, performance and stability while closely working with software development teams in how to improve critical components.

Working with complex challenges while assuring uptime and reliability in different setups (AWS Cloud, AWS Outpost, OpenStack) allows you to use different skillsets in coding, algorithms and complexity analysis.

What You’ll Be Doing

Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from design, deployment, operation, and refinement.
Take an active part in production problems root cause investigation, identification, and resolution (where necessary)
Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.

Optimize reliability monitoring & alerting;

The Role
As a Senior Strategy Project Manager, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution. You will help translate strategic priorities into clear, structured initiatives and ensure outcomes are visible, accountable, and continuously improving.
You will lead and support cross-team strategic initiatives using strong project management fundamentals, driving alignment across complex organizations and senior stakeholders. What You'll Bring

5+ years of experience in Project Management, Strategy Project Management, Program Management, or a similar role in a technology-driven environment.

Solid technical knowledge of security-related technologies and industry standard processes across all Cyber Security risk areas.
Proven experience in defining Cyber Security policy, standards, and controls.
Strong working knowledge and experience of current IT Security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, ISF, UKGC, and Data Protection.
Knowledge of GDPR and the EU AI Act is highly desirable.
Demonstrable experience operating in a Security Business Partner, Security Engagement Lead, or equivalent advisory capacity, with a track record of building trusted relationships with technology and business stakeholders across a complex, multi-divisional organisation.

As DEI Inclusion and CSR Specialist, you will support the delivery of our inclusion and belonging initiatives and roadmap, helping to create an inclusive culture where our people can be their authentic selves. Prepare CSR activity reports and reconcile data for stakeholders and blip;
Engage regularly with the central CSR team to ensure alignment of local initiatives with broader Group strategies and objectives. This includes actively participating in cross-company forums, sharing best practices, and coordinating efforts to support consistent integration of CSR principles;

Role Description

We’d Like You to Master In

Professional Experience: 3-5 years in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps with deep understanding of the full PDLC/SDLC.
Production AI Systems: Proven track record deploying and operating AI/ML systems in production, including LLM-based applications and agentic workflows.
Agentic AI Frameworks: Strong hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar orchestration frameworks for building multi-step AI agents.
Cloud Infrastructure: Advanced AWS knowledge including Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and experience architecting cloud-native solutions.
Kubernetes & IaC: Solid experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and/or Crossplane for infrastructure provisioning and workload orchestration.
Programming Proficiency: Expert-level Python and experience with Go or other systems programming languages for building robust, performant applications.
System Design: Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and data pipelines with consideration for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Developer Tooling: Deep familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) from both user and integration perspectives.
Observability & Operations: Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response for production systems (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).
Technical Initiative Leadership: History of leading technical projects or initiatives from conception through delivery, demonstrating autonomous execution.
Bonus Points: Experience with RAG systems, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), model fine-tuning, or contributions to open-source AI projects. AWS certifications or experience with multi-cloud environments.

The Role

What You’ll Bring

Proven track record as an effective Quality Engineer in complex software development projects
Demonstrable experience in both manual and automated testing methods
You can write/maintain test automation and test scripts
You have a working knowledge of a development language such as Java, Python or C#
Demonstrable experience testing in service-oriented architectures and understanding data flow through such systems
You can take on complex technical concepts and information relatively quickly in most contexts, and provide immediate advice on effective courses of action.

The Role...

As a Senior Backend Developer , you're part of an agile Software Development Team and you're responsible for the full lifecycle of an application. You will be trusted to guide a team of your own on the best approach for large pieces of work that span multiple components and teams and as an expert in the area, you'll the go-to person for big ideas and problem-solving. With your large expertise, we know that you'll add a lot of value to the team - be it by suggesting alternative methodologies that may be more efficient, actively improving the tooling to improve use cases, or even designing and developing a technical solution or new processes.

You can expect to use cutting-edge technologies to deliver amazing value and the best product to our customers while scaling our platform to meet the demands of worldwide markets. You will be required to program well-designed, testable, efficient code to solve business needs, as well as test and document the implemented solutions.

What You’ll Bring

Our product's backend runs in Java , so a proven track record of at least 5 years working with this technology (preferably Java 8+) would be ideal - but... If you have extensive experience working with similar OOP languages, that is not a problem as the underlying concepts are similar - just know that if you join us you'll be working with Java.
Our teams also work with technologies such as Scala, Kafka, Akka, Memcached, Apache Storm, Apache Cassandra, Zookeeper, RabbitMQ , and some others... Ideally, you should have working experience with most/all of these but if not, don't worry - we will have your back!

We'd Like You To Master In

Experience working with a high concurrency/high transactional/highly available platform;
Familiarity working with Client-server protocols such as SOAP, and REST;
Expertise using established design patterns and encouraging appropriate use of reusability techniques (e.g. library extraction, new component creation);
