The Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Blip, it's not just about technical knowledge. What You’ll Be Doing

You will work as part of a team implementing best-practice AWS solutions for our products

You will help with maintaining and improving our current platforms

You will be involved in the development of new solutions delivered from inception to live

You stay abreast of the ever-evolving security landscape and ensure deployed solutions remain secure
What You’ll Bring

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
-
Hands-on experience with AWS Services
-
Hands-on experience with Configuration Management (Ansible and/or Chef)
-
Hands-on knowledge with stream-processing platforms (Kafka) and databases
-
Hands-on experience with Coding and scripting skills
-
Desirable to have 2+ years of developing software
-
Experience deploying and maintaining resources in the Cloud using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
-
Experience Implementing monitoring and alerting and manages critical systems
-
Familiarity deploying and maintaining containers to containerization platforms
-
Release processes and system administration
-
Other qualifications within IT or equivalent industry experience

Excellent analytical skills, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive

Strong communications and stakeholder management skills
