External Communications Specialist (Maternity Leave Coverage)

The Role  

The Maternity Leave Cover External Communications Specialist will answer to the Employer Branding and Internal Comms Manager, playing a key role in supporting the delivery of core communications and employer branding for Blip. 

Part of Flutter Entertainment’s European People Team, this role will  

Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Team, Communications team and other key stakeholders, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing strategies and programs to support the employer branding strategy with execution, working on Blip’s external communications channels as well as planning and delivering partnerships and external events. 

What You’ll Be Doing:  

  • Lead and execute work on external communication channels (e.g., Social Media, Website, PR) 

  • Support in planning and executing employer branding and recruitment campaigns to assist talent acquisition hiring requirements and to drive employee engagement 

  • Lead in translating internal success stories, Blip’s culture, innovation and technology through external media 

  • Provide support and assistance in planning, developing, producing, and delivering communications materials  

  • Help execute the PR strategy with internal and external stakeholders  

  • Prepare written materials including copy, reports, and presentation scripts as needed to support the team’s projects and campaigns 

  • Keep the Blip’s website and blog updated together with technical internal teams 

  • Assess the impact of rolled-out programmes and campaigns with a data-driven approach (Insights, Analytics, Trends)  

  • Prepare event materials, including copy and business communications, in accordance to the event’s established comms plan 

  • Support in organizing, assembling and delivering internal events with external impact 

  • Manage external presences in job fairs and conferences together with the Talent Acquisition Team 

  • Manage and support Leadership initiatives with external stakeholders as schools, universities and local institutions 

  • Help developing and delivering the CSR strategy  

  • Be responsible for ensuring accuracy in information and proofreading

To become one of us you should have:

  • Collaborative and flexible, comfortable with complex tasks and able to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously 

  • Disciplined execution of projects, responsible for meeting both the quality standards required, and the agreed timelines  

  • Ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully and at pace 

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly written; copywriting, editing and proofreading

  • Experience in Social Media management, content Marketing, Website Back offices, SEO 

  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) 

  • Knowledge of market research practices and techniques such as benchmark or competitors' analysis 

  • Proficiency in creating content that is fit for purpose and for the audiences it is addressed to 

  • Capacity to effectively manage diverse stakeholders, across the business 

  • Fluent in English
