The Role:

As a People Analytics Specialist, you will collect, analyze, and interpret employee and business data to identify trends and insights. You will also communicate these insights to stakeholders within the People team and local and Divisional leadership teams.

You will work on a local or global scale and be hands-on with a strategic lens. Will work closely with stakeholders to support and evolve the HR and Local/divisional data strategy, aiming to eventually focus on applying analytics to drive decision-making.

Reporting to the People Analytics Lead, the People Analytics Specialist will be a crucial person and visionary for data-driven decision-making, ensuring that data always delivers value to the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partnering with key stakeholders across the people’s team and Local/Divisional leadership teams to understand their reporting vision to translate into actionable metrics and insight. 
  • Through data, provide recommendations to key business leaders (e.g. People team and Local Leaders/LT) that will impact various people components such as culture, retention, learning, engagement, DEI, etc….
  • Transpose and explain in a transparent, accessible, and useable design the findings from the analyzed data to create informative overviews for the executive / senior leaders.
  • Work directly with the central People Analytics team to develop a People Data Governance model that supports and drives for robust data quality based on the current HRIS.
  • Collect, analyze and interpret large amounts of employee data to identify trends and insights.
  • Communicate those insights and recommendations to HR and other businesses and adapt those to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on People analytics and other business data and determine the proper approach for analysis, success measurement, and connection points based on desired outcomes.
  • Analise external data and estimation (market, competitors), allowing HR and Local/Divisional Leadership teams to make business decisions.
  • Working closely with the central People Analytics team to influence and shape data requirements for HR and the underlying data systems and structures.
  • Support the design and implementation of HR analytics projects and initiatives that drive business results.
  • Can be involved in data-driven workforce planning, including the analysis of the total workforce cost.
  • Developing and driving continuous improvement of data analytics, to provide accurate business insight, enabling and supporting informed decision making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and security.

  To become one of us you should have:

  • Experience in an HR Data Analytics or similar role and proven ability to build this capability within an organization.
  • Experience in working with and managing HRIS datasets from a range of sources (Workday experience ideal)
  • Practical experience with reporting solutions and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and work collaboratively with teams.
  • Good stakeholder management and Ability to translate complex data analysis and research principles into terms that a broader audience can understand.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working on their initiative with limited supervision .
