Purpose of the Role:

As a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Manager you will play a key role in building and executing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy which focuses on creating an inclusive culture where our people can be their authentic selves and use their diverse talent to create an organisation that our players and our people are proud. This will be achieved through elevating the employee experience and talent development/general processes, supporting the business to bring to life our leadership commitments and accountabilities, being transparent with our progress through our data and supporting initiatives that authentically represent our values.

Responsibilities:

  • Defines and owns the DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) strategy, objectives, and roadmap for Blip, in alignment with Flutter Group.
  • Takes a data-driven approach in defining the DEI programmes and initiatives, and looks for synergies and scaling opportunities coming from the wider DEI Group strategy and associated cross-divisional teams.
  • Builds strong partnerships and provides oversight for DEI champions to the business by providing guidance and ensuring activities are aligned with the company's mission, values, and Local/Group DEI strategy.
  • Plans and project manages the DEI campaigns and the all-year-round calendar of initiatives maximizing the allocated budgets and capitalizing on scaling the global DEI roadmap for Blip.
  • Supports the activity of ERGs (employees resource groups e.g., Fair Game, Lean In Circles) and is on the lookout for opportunities to create more ERGs that are business owned and sponsored.
  • Works collaboratively with HR functions as well as remaining departments of the business to overlay the diversity and inclusion lens on policy, procedure, practice, strategy, and goals to further strengthen a diverse and inclusive culture.
  • Works with Learning Team to develop, implement, and facilitate learning initiatives aligned with the Local and Group DEI strategy and emergent needs.
  • Works with DEI Leads in Group and other Business Divisions to share knowledge, build a community of practice and leverage support for key initiatives.
  • Ensures sponsorship for landing the DEI Strategy and programmes.
  • Defines ways of working with teams that provide components for the programmes designed (e.g., TA, People Partners, business function teams).
  • Builds excellent relationships with stakeholders across business functions and geographic locations.
  • Works closely with external providers to benchmark progress against best practices and keep up to date with the latest development in DEI research and thinking.
  • Gathers insights, conducts analysis with various types of human resources data, identifies trends and produces reports.
  • Integrates DEI considerations through all stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, learning, talent and leadership development and retention.

Requirements/ Experience:

  • Relevant and solid experience working in a DEI role.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced international environment is a plus.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively while implementing diversity and inclusion programmes and campaigns within an organization.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple work streams.
  • Structured thinking and a clear ability to effectively influence and manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, and ability to operationalize and scale programs.
  • Effective communicator and excellent presentation skills.
  • Data literate with the ability to interpret and use data to drive decision-making.
  • English proficiency.
