As part of the Group Shared Platforms function, the Business Analyst will join the team accountable for the strategic shared platform enablement and implementations process. Reporting to the Implementation Manager, the Implementation team will supply the required level of oversight, support and guidance providing the vision and direction for effective platform adoption, consulting Group Divisions on:
- adoption best practices, standards, tooling and automation
- structured adoption planning
- structured resource planning
As a Business Analyst, you will develop a deep understanding of our shared platform capabilities in order to conduct complex functional gap analysis exercises and provide consultancy, coaching and expertise on the our shared product best practices, standards, processes and functionalities to adopting divisions.
What You'll be Doing...
- Contribute towards creation and maintenance of a divisional adoption plan blueprints;
- Provide consultancy for divisions on the process for identifying, raising and tracking requirements to enable the success adoption of the our shared platforms;
- Understand product/commercial needs and how these are translated into functional and technical requirements;
- Assist Divisions in requirement gathering and gap analysis;
- Understands and balances commercial needs against technical requirements and capabilities;
- Become a subject matter expert in the dependencies between technology components and how they combine to deliver solutions to the end consumer and to the business;
- Have a detailed understanding of the portfolio, project & feature delivery processes for the shared products and for divisions adopting them;
- Contribute to operational readiness processes;
- Makes non-functional requirements, performance, security, compliance & social responsibility part of all design processes;
- Where appropriate, co-ordinate with 3rd party content and technology providers to ensure timely and quality delivery/integration of external product features as specified.
- Assist divisions with User Acceptance Testing;

We'd love to see:
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst or product owner role;
- Proven experience working with complex software systems based on service-oriented architectures from Operational, Functional and Architectural perspectives;
- Proven experience working in a culturally diverse environment;
- Having an understanding of the gambling sector would be an advantage;
- Proven experience in process design;
- Proven experience in technical document writing;
