The Opportunity

In Global Trading Product, we work within our Global Trading Tribe to deliver against our ambitious Global Risk & Trading Strategy which is shared across 10+ Flutter brands in the Group.

Reporting to the Head of Product, the Lead Product Manager, responsible for Global Risk and based in either Dublin or Porto, is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the craft of Product Management who wants to grow their career and work with a world-class team of product, delivery and engineering perspectives in Sports Trading.

You will represent the customer in our Risk value stream and garner strategic direction from trading leaders, to provide clarity of purpose to product owners across three squads. You will live and breathe the performance of the products that make up the entire value stream

The Responsibilities

Global Collaboration: Create and facilitate global demand intake forums to understand the evolving needs of our brands across four divisions, and join insight to create, and align on, the most valuable opportunities for the Group

Product Strategy: Facilitate value stream forums to evolve the OKRs for products in Risk, aligned to the Global Trading Vision. Ensure squads have a deep understanding of OKRs and how their products can evolve to meet them. Get to know your customers, through segmentation and understand their needs and jobs to be done. Understand the competitive landscape by carrying out regular research and analysis

Product Development Lifecycle: Where change involves a single squad, you will coach product owners through each the stages of the tribe product creation process, from ideation and strategic alignment right through to build and evolution. Where change involves multiple squads, you will work in partnership with the Senior Engineering Manager and Delivery lead to take a more active role through the product creation process

Run of Products: Monitor the performance of the products that make up the entire value stream, including return on investment, delivery effectiveness, future proofing, and OKR progression, feeding findings into long-term strategy

Transparency: Create transparency with stakeholders and tribe leadership on progress towards OKRs, including squad roadmap updates, validation of product changes (pre and post), operational KPIs and customer feedback

Pastoral: Coach and mentor product owners through the product delivery lifecycle process, supporting the squads in finding solutions to complex challenges. Feed into the wider product community for sharing knowledge and experiences

Leadership: In partnership with the Senior Engineering Manager and Delivery Lead, you will lead with a people first approach; building and maintaining a strong culture within risk and helping to create a working environment of positive relations. You will also contribute to the ongoing success of the tribe overall through partnering with other leaders to prioritise and address common challenges

The Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in a product or technical role

  • Experience defining and executing against a cohesive strategy

  • Experience managing senior stakeholders in a global environment

  • Strong knowledge of the sports betting industry is a significant advantage
